Row & Oak exists to make low-waste living accessible, joyful, and beautiful—driven by the belief that we don’t need a few people living zero-waste perfectly, but everyone making small, intentional swaps together. Named after my children, Rowan and Oakley, the brand is rooted in creating a cleaner world for the next generation through natural, plastic-free home essentials and handcrafted fiber arts.
To bridge the gap between small-batch crafting and sustainable business growth, our business model pairs our own handcrafted textile pieces with zero-labor, carefully curated eco-components (like bamboo soap dishes). This allows us to offer complete, gift-ready kits at accessible price points ($8–$54) while maintaining strong profit margins above 54%.
Having established direct-to-consumer traction at local Michigan markets, we are now building out our year-round wholesale distribution and expanding into high-foot-traffic indoor retail spaces and juried artisanal markets. We are moving from a seasonal pop-up model to a scalable micro-manufacturing operation that supplies independent boutiques and retail partners nationwide.
