Outdoor Book Festival is the flagship annual gathering of Outdoor Book Club, a year-round literary community for people who love books and outdoor life.
The festival will bring readers, authors, publishers, bookstores, outdoor organizations and brands together for a weekend of conversations, readings, workshops, book sales, live podcast recordings and signature experiences such as Bonfire Talks.
We’re building it in West Michigan, where freshwater gives the festival a natural identity. Just as major outdoor festivals have grown around mountain culture, Outdoor Book Festival can grow from the stories, landscapes and communities of the Great Lakes.
The long-term goal is bigger than one weekend: to make Outdoor Book Club the literary home for outdoor culture, with the festival as its annual gathering place.
