About this idea

When there’s a crisis, we’re taught the holy trinity of digits: 9-1-1.
But cops aren’t always the right response and they’re oftentimes not properly trained for these specific crisis situations. The goal is consolidating every life-saving alternative available in Los Angeles into one place: findable and deployable in under 60 seconds. An additional priority is to reduce cognitive load when someone’s attempting to reach potential life-saving support.

We don’t offer a thousand options and are not inventing anything new, we’re simply organizing resources and making them accessible and visible. The four crises we are focused on are:

* Overdose
* Sexual assault medical care
* Elder or dependent at risk
* In-person de-escalation

User Flow: Tap the relevant crisis button -> it calls/sends who you actually need.
