Hiring someone means letting a stranger into your home or your business, and today you’re judging them blind. All you have is a profile, and the best workers are often the worst at writing one.
GigNGo changes that. You say what you need, local workers who live nearby offer to do it, and each one shows videos of their own real work. You watch them work before you ever meet them, so you know who’s coming to your door. No bidding, no lead fees.
Why now: short videos have changed how people decide who to trust. We already pick a restaurant, a barber or a product from a clip on our phone. Home help is where trust matters most, because that person is coming inside, and it’s the one place short video hasn’t reached yet. Now is the time to bring it there.
The Greenway is bringing new parks, trails, rentals, cafés and events to the river. Every one of them will need hands: someone to fix, mow, haul, paint, set up and clean up. Every house along the river will feel it too. GigNGo is how they find those hands, and know who they’re letting in.
I started building it at Calvin’s Startup Garage and launched GigNGo in December 2025. It’s live on iPhone, Android and the web.
