Farmish is a free marketplace app for local food and farms. The mission is to grow local food systems and provide more access points for locally grown food. Sellers can create a free listing for items like backyard chicken eggs, homegrown produce, garden supplies, plants, trees, and honey. Buyers search on a map by location or by keyword and then message the seller to complete the sale.
Within the next few weeks, sellers will have the option to upgrade to a Premium Membership for $14.99/month which includes a branded storefront, 10 active listings, a custom URL, and access to our member forum. The forum provides tools, resources, and discussion to grow and nurture a local customer base.
The app is available in the App Store as of March 25th, 2022 and available on Google Play as of March 31st, 2022. To date, there have been over 3,500 mobile app downloads and over 4,000 registered users between the mobile & web apps.
