Check Pool Poker is a simple, repeatable workplace game powered by a mobile app that turns paycheck numbers into poker hands—no cards, no dealing, no distractions.
Each player uses numbers from their paycheck (like last 3 digits of check number and cents of your check amount) to automatically generate a 5-card poker hand. The app ranks hands instantly (pairs, straights, etc.) and determines winners fairly with no room for manipulation.
A “commissioner” sets up the group (portal), defines the pay period, ante amount, payout structure, and payday. Players join using a simple code, mark themselves as paid, and submit their numbers on payday. The app locks entries, prevents unpaid players from submitting, and automatically calculates winners and payouts—even handling ties and multiple prize spots.
It removes all the friction of traditional workplace pools—no chasing cash, no confusion, no manual tracking—so more people can play, the pot gets bigger, and it doesn’t interrupt work.
The long-term vision is to scale this across thousands of workplaces, creating a standardized, low-friction game that boosts engagement, builds community, and can later integrate features like payment links, leaderboards across groups, and optional verification tools.
