I currently specialize in custom, editorial-style wedding and event cakes, desserts and have recently expanded into offering curated decorating experiences. These experiences are more than just cake decorating classes- they are fully immersive experiences designed to create connection, creativity and community. Especially in women and mothers like myself who need a creative outlet. I have hosted 5 sold out events in the last 3 months and they have grown faster than I have been able to manage alone! My most recent event was a Mother’s Day cake decorating workshop geared towards mothers and daughters. It included a 2 hour decorating workshop at a new local content studio with guided instruction, all materials provided, charcuterie and light refreshments, a build your own bouquet bar, professional photography, and a permanent jewelry vendor. This workshop was designed to create connection and memories within these women while also including many other local woman owned small businesses.
I have also recently expanded this year into a new commercial kitchen space and a small retail space in the Crow’s Hold Vendor Market which will be opening soon. Here I will be offering items such as grab and go desserts, tiramisu, French macarons, slab cakes, granola, and whatever creative ideas I can come up with!
My current focus is expanding these 2 avenues of my business while maintaining the wedding and custom cake/dessert portion of my business that is already very successful.
