Carbon Dragon Technologies is developing a patent-pending process to convert CO₂ into useful graphitic carbon. Our goal is to turn a waste stream into a domestic source of materials for manufacturing, advanced technology, and defense applications.
The exciting part is the range of potential uses. Carbon materials can improve properties such as strength or electrical conductivity in plastics, rubber, and concrete, depending on their quality and formulation. With additional refining and qualification, battery applications are another opportunity.
We also see an opportunity to work with landfill and industrial operators, bringing production closer to CO₂ sources and supplying regional manufacturers. Over time, we intend to license the technology so qualified partners can expand its use.
Our next step is to demonstrate consistent material quality, measure production costs, and match our output to customer needs. This grant will help us move toward that proof: a useful, competitively priced product made from CO₂, with the potential to strengthen domestic supply chains and deliver a measurable environmental benefit.
