Rebel Pizza & Brews is where bold pizza meets an even bolder mission. We’re building a punk-rock-inspired pizzeria and brewpub in downtown Monroe where approximately 70% of our team will be adults with disabilities—creating meaningful, integrated employment in a community where those opportunities are far too limited.
But the mission only works if people crave the food. Our menu is designed to be as rebellious as our name: handmade dough and unforgettable specialty pizzas like the Momoa, loaded with BBQ, ham, pineapple, red onion and brown-sugar bacon; the Mikey, with old-world pepperoni, fresh jalapeños, spicy marinara and a drizzle of hotter honey; and fan-favorite No Ragrets. Even our pizza names are meant to start conversations and make Rebel an experience people remember.
And we’re not waiting for the restaurant doors to open to prove the concept. Through community events and pop-ups, we’re putting our recipes in customers’ hands, building our following and learning what people come back for while working toward our permanent location.
Rebel isn’t a charity disguised as a restaurant. It’s a great pizza business designed from the ground up around inclusion. We want customers to come the first time because they believe in our mission—and come back because they can’t stop thinking about the pizza.
