Shirley D’s Smokehouse is a mobile BBQ business I started in honor of my late mother, Shirley. I want to bring good BBQ and homemade Southern food directly to people throughout Metro Detroit. My food trailer will serve smoked and fried ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, homemade sides and desserts. I plan to serve at festivals, community events, corporate locations, private events and catering jobs. I don’t want this to be just another food truck. I want customers to receive good food, good portions and friendly service that makes them want to come back. My long-term goal is to grow into several food trailers, hire people from the community and eventually open restaurant locations. Shirley D’s Smokehouse is where good food, family tradition and my mother’s memory come together—Where Smoke Meets Soul.
